When you book we collect your name, mobile number, email address, pickup and drop-off addresses, travel date and time, flight number, passenger and luggage details, child seat needs, and your messages to us. When you pay, Stripe collects your card details; we receive only a payment reference and the last four digits. If you contact us by SMS, WhatsApp, email or phone we keep the conversation.
To provide the ride you booked: to price it, allocate a chauffeur, send you confirmations and reminders, take payment and process refunds, and handle any problem. To give your chauffeur your name and phone number so they can find and contact you on the day. To keep records of bookings and payments as the law requires. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
Your chauffeur (name, phone number and trip details only). Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS and WhatsApp delivery), Zendesk (our booking system), Google (address lookup and drive times), AeroDataBox (flight times) and Vercel (website hosting) — each processes data on our behalf under their own privacy terms, and some are located outside Australia. We disclose information where the law requires it.
Booking and payment records for seven years, as required for tax and accounting. As a booking service provider we are also required to keep the record of each booking for at least two years. Messages and address details for as long as needed to handle the booking and any follow-up. You can ask us to delete details we no longer need to keep.
Data is held in the systems above, each of which encrypts it in transit and at rest. Card numbers never touch our systems. Chauffeurs see only the details for their own jobs.
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or complain about how we have handled it, by emailing support@aaablack.com.au. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
aaablack.com.au uses only the cookies needed for the booking form to work and for basic, anonymous visit statistics. It does not use advertising cookies.
